Is It Legal to Buy Viagra Without a Doctor’s Prescription?
Question:
My email inbox gets occasional messages touting online merchants who will sell me Viagra without a doctor’s prescription. I’ve also run across scores of sites offering the same sort of deals.
Is that legal?

Answer:
It is illegal in the United States to sell — or buy — Viagra without a doctor’s prescription. And the websites that promise to do just that are probably not selling the real thing at all. An alarmingly high percentage of the ED — and other prescription — drugs sold online are counterfeit. In some cases, they contain no active ingredient at all.
In others, they may contain unsafe levels of active ingredients known to treat ED. Perhaps most dangerously, they often contain toxic materials that are used as coloring agents or filler. Falling for such online offers can be hazardous to your health.
That’s not to say that it’s impossible to get FDA-approved ED drugs online, but you need to be very scrupulous about selecting your online supplier. First of all, no legitimate online facilitator will sell you these drugs without a prescription.
However, a handful of them, including eDrugstore.com, can arrange a complimentary online consultation with a licensed U.S. physician who can authorize a prescription if appropriate.
However, if you already have a prescription from your doctor, you can fax it or scan and email it to eDrugstore along with your order.
Thanks
